I recently stayed at Briardene Cottage for a weekend getaway and it was absolutely perfect. The cottage was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail by the owner was impeccable, from the fresh cupcakes and hot chocolate upon arrival to the chocolates on the beds. The location in its own little hamlet was stunning, and the outside area next to the running stream was a lovely bonus. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. a wonderful stay that I highly recommend.

    I do recommend this hotel.

We were blown away by the jaw-dropping decor, top-notch amenities, and cute little touches that the cottage offered. It was mind-blowing how comfortable and relaxing every corner was, from the fluffy dressing gowns to the abundance of candles and outdoor lights. The location was superb, nestled in a stunning valley with a charming village nearby. The fresh flowers, delicious cakes, and thoughtful chocolates added a lovely touch to our stay. The fully equipped kitchen exceeded our expectations, and the chocolates on the beds were a delightful surprise. We couldn't have asked for a better break, especially with the added bonus of being pet-friendly. We didn't want to leave this hidden gem!

The cottage had a charming historical feel, with cozy fireplace and alluring decor. Loved exploring the surrounding area for outdoor adventures like horse riding. The complimentary tea and lovely fireplace added a touch of luxury.

Oh, how I adored the uncomfortably warm duvet! Such a shame not to have a sheet provided.

For the price we paid, Briardene Cottage was an absolute steal! The room was stunning, with exquisite decor and furnishings that immediately put us at ease. The location was also perfect - nestled in a beautiful valley and close to a charming village. The staff went above and beyond, leaving fresh flowers, cakes, and chocolates in the room, and even providing milk in the fridge. Truly a memorable stay!

The only thing that could have made the morning meal better was if there were a few more options to choose from. But honestly, that's just nitpicking - our overall experience at Briardene Cottage was exceptional.

The cottage was beautifully furnished and had thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, cakes, and chocolates upon arrival. the kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. the location of the cottage was in a picturesque valley and village, making for a scenic and peaceful getaway. We particularly enjoyed the tranquil garden and the soothing sound of the trickling stream.

One minor inconvenience was the lack of mobile network reception in the village, making us heavily reliant on the cottage's wifi. there was a slight hiccup during the check-in process, as we did not receive the door key codes in advance.

Our recent stay at Briardene Cottage was absolutely fantastic. The cottage itself was beautifully furnished and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail, from the fresh flowers to the delicious cupcakes and chocolates, made us feel very welcome. The location was also perfect, with stunning views of the valley and a charming village nearby. We especially loved the picturesque garden and the peaceful sound of the trickling stream. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Briardene Cottage for a relaxing getaway.

While there was very little to fault during our stay, it would have been nice to have a provided sheet for the beds as the duvet was a little too warm for our liking. Additionally, we would have loved to learn more about the history of the cottage.

The bathrooms were absolutely amazing! I mean, they had showers and hot tubs! It was like a mini spa retreat right in our own bungalow. So relaxing after a long day of work. I felt like a VIP!

Personally, I found the satellite TV a bit outdated. But hey, I know some people still enjoy watching it, so it's just my opinion.
